Urban Bestiary Talk, March 13

Author Lyanda Lynn Haupt will present The Urban Bestiary: Encountering the Everyday Wild

March 13 at 7pm, Cleveland Museum of Natural History

In a new urban ecosystem where opossums turn up in subway cars and coyotes in city parks, we face some fascinating questions: Whose “home” is this? Where does the wild end and the city begin? And what difference does it make to us as humans living our daily lives? Like its medieval predecessors, a modern bestiary must blend science, myth and personal stories in the quest to live with grace and intelligence in wild neighborhoods. Book signing to follow.
